May Monday 10 1926

Jean got frightened at steam roller working on High School campus, started cutting up, hold back snap broke but I managed to prevent a runaway after she kicked the front of the milk wagon three or four times. Rather an exciting incident for me.

Tuesday 11

Rather a cool Spring day. "Jean" was rather frisky so Jimmie put her on the harrows in afternoon to tame her down. Started a spec. in Tretheway-Ossian with 300 shares.

Wednesday 12

Jean and I went driving and were up home for a few minutes. Had quite a chat on investments etc. Heard C.FGC jazz music, followed by lunch at Barkers and was home and in bed at one o'clock.

May Thursday 13 1926

Alex, Jimmie, and I took the calf Mr Telfer gave me up home in the car and stayed for a few minutes. Dad sold my heifer to T.J. Wiles from Brantford for $65.00 and gave me a cheque for her.

Friday 14

Pinehurst opened up and Alex wanted me to go up but I felt too tired so stayed at home and worked on my books as I had them all up to date. The biggest day yet when I sold 116 quarts.

Saturday 15

Peddled 116 quarts of milk and took on three new customers making a total of 144. Alex took Cecil and I to town at night in the "Chevie" and I had a fine time with Jean in the Dodge.
