May Saturday 22 1926
"Our gang" went to town at night in the Chevrolet Coupé. Had some time in the Dodge with Melville and teasing Eleanor. "Klu Klux Klan" burnt a fiery cross just back of Ford Garage.
Sunday 23
Drove up to McCrows and had Supper with them. Took Marge down to Barkers afterwards. Jean and I went for a drive with old "Queen" up home and didn't get back very early. Home somewhere around 1.30.
Monday 24
Had an invitation to Brown's party at Galt but couldn't get a car to go with so couldn't go. Jean went with Cochranes. Alex took Jimmie and I to Pinehurst Small crowd but good music Danced with "Katie" & "Isabelle".
May Tuesday 25 1926
Felt "fairly good" as Jim says after my first night of dancing at Pine Hurst. Rather tired so had a real sleep in the afternoon.
Wednesday 26
My throat started to get sore so got a bottle of "Klenzo Liquid Antiseptic" at Sandercocks to gargle it with and retired early.
Thursday 27
Andrew Telfer and I drove up to W.W. Carrs to attend directors meeting where we made arrangements for Bethel play and drew up programme until end of July. Ice-cream and cake afterwards and a chat with "Jean".
