side & his on the other. He carved it him self he also did one for Melville. We got a photo of M Lucas & we (Annie Sarah & I) gave him our gems he also gave us all his cards with name on. had a very good time. He showed us his girls picture very good looking.
Monday 9th.83 picking. I packing. all day .. .. .. Had Jane B Mrs B. Miss English & Ella Mc. here right after dinner had Mrs Page. Sam Mc. wife Agnes Gilliam & lot else after berries. I pick goose berries down Orchard Lizzie Mc came running up told me to tell Mrs Will Gilliam that here Mothers-in-law was
