Dec 3rd. All packed and ready for California. Have our tickets bought. going by Can Nat {Canadian National Railway} to Chicago, then Illinois Central from Chicago to New Orleans. then Southern Pacific to San Franciso & back by the northern way by Salt Lake City. the two tickets (returns) and upper & lower berth as far as New Orleans Cost $386.48 Had dinner down at Johns also Ida & Oilve Hicks was there. they are driving us in to the train.
