8 To 12 lb ham = 15 cts 1.80 beef 4 lbs 40 cts Rev. McLennan & I were visiting at Mrs McLaurins Far & Jimie went to a moonlight excursion from Lancaster to Dickerson Island. To 1 doz eggs. 13 cts. 5 loaves 25. 38
9 We went to Hamilton's Island today
10 got 2 cups 15 cts. 2 lbs sugar 20 cts
11 To 2 loaves, 10 cts Movrah McDonell from Alexandria, went home today. she came on Monday. It rained today Cousin Mary and Charlotte McLennan of Fournierville came in this evening
12 To 2 1/2 lbs sugar 25 cts. Jim & Murdy cut wheat
13 Lacrosse Match here between Alexandria & Olimpeans 3 straight for Olimpeans, they keep the medal. Birdie went to the Gore with cousin Mary. The quire were practicing here tonight
14 Had a very good sermon from McLennan read Irish 55 chap 1 Math. 11. 28 verse come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. A Railroad accident at Chatsworth {Illinois}
