Jan 25th, 1908. Hamilton. snow storm.

Feb 4th 1908. Hamilton Decidedly cold

Feb 6th Mr Gilmour Hamilton Feb 6th 1908 Dear Sir. Then you intend putting ice in. As any brother and I is not bury at fresant. I thought I would write and ask you what you would give us for hunderd {illegible}, afor rutting, of some stated size you to use your team for acraping snow if necsessary, Yours Truly. Mr Dyment.

Feb 11th Arton. Noah. Henry. Mable. Pilla. and Myself Happend to meet at 141 James St North Hamilton.

Feb 19th Helped Noah Load a car of Potatoes.

Mar 14th. Helped Arton Move from 141 James North to 63 Kindred Ave.

Mar 14th Sindicate {illegible} sold Percheron Stallion to Hamilton & Hawthorn of Simcoe for $800.00

Mar 26th gave Henry $80.00 for expenses and note to pay my share of each.

Mar 31st I finished playing in the Hamilton. Y.M.G.A.U checkers tournament in which thirty men were to play for a silver cup, and I won the cup, and Mr Best presented it to me April the 2nd. a list of the fellos I played with, and the order of the points lost and won.
