19th John H crofsed Took the Horse home Rained windy Bought Thred Tobacco ice opened to Day Randolph Breaking up the Bun

20th First Day of Spring the 2 of Lewis here got Syrup and Tea Piling Stove Wood Taking the Tobacco Fence away and Making a Fence of stove-wood Froze to night Eclipse commences to Day

21 Fine some Rain Piling stove wood took 5 Gallons came in to Day the Boys Shooting at the sturgeon Island got 1 Bird

23rd Good Friday E Wind and west and North snowed Rained and hailed Got 4 Duck Leander went with one of those Hunters from Jo Douquets took 5 Gallons of syrup home Froze hard to night

24 Fine Fortunate Day E Wind Drew 2 Loads of hay from the stack Drew some of the Wood off the Potato Ground 3 Men at the sturgeon Island Hunters for Ducks

25th Easter Sunday high W Wind Randolph to Rofs's Island Mr Cameron From Montreal and Leander with him Shot 24 Ducks the Best Days Shooting Done yet Gave Randolph $1 very high Wind Lots of ice going Down cold John H and Stanley in the sugar-Bush Lots of Egss for Easter Annunciation of the Virgin Mary
