25th of Augt 1899 Fine Day Mr Webster and the 2 youngest Daughters here 4 Doz of Eggs 1 Quart of Milk and a Pint of Cream Brought a Dish a Present to Pack Butter in. The Lucias hear For 1/2 Bushel of Potatoes 1 lb of Butter took their Box came up yesterday cutting the Barley coilig the oats on the East side Beans Ripe Daisy came to the Front Leander crofsed

26th a Fine Day E Wind cutting the Barley Made some coils went around the Island Leander crofsed this Evening got Papers

27th a very Fine Day E Wind Daisy Adeliade Minnie Gordon Eddy Fernandez here all went off this Evening

28th a very very Warm Day one of the Lucias here Butter and Salt Lewis Bosell for Baits putting in or making a Stack of Oats Made some coils of the Barley Gave my right side of my head an awful Blow to night against the Oak-Tree at the Door came right up against it. Dizziness this Evening

29th very Fine very warm E Wind Ed Douquetts Party Down to Day Going to Have a Boyeau To 3 chickens Butter Eggs and Potatoes 2 More Men came had Mr Roys Boat Gave Stanley 50 cents to take the Boat Back to Roy Ed Renshaw here Stanley went up with Eddy to take in his oats

30th of August 1899 a verry verry Warm Day cut some in the Marsh Lucies for Potatoes and Tobacco Maggie Baker Married to Day To Mr Wiley Adelaide Lilly Daisy Minnie came Down Leander and all of them went up to night

31st Fine Made a Stack of the Barley all the Grain Done now Eddy Renshaw Sharpeing his Sythe Leander crofsed with Tub of Butter To Jo Douquetts Lucias here Brought a Sturgeon the Ivy Down to Day at the Head of the Island Pic nic in very Smoky with Fires a Lot of Shooting goin on on the South side

1st of September St Giles Day E Wind Rained some Lucias for Potatoes 1/2 Bushel Stanley and Fernandez Went to Dundee Bought Twine for a Sturgeon Line Went to the Head of the Island Fixing Hooks on snoods

2nd Fine very warm catching Bait Mowing in the Marsh Set a new Sturgeon Line Leander to Summerstown Got a Letter From Jamesina From Cornwall stating that Reuben and herself would be Down Monday on the Boat and to Meet them at Hamiltons wharf Heard Old Mrs Cattanach Departed in the in the 2nd Concefsion
