31 Saturday. Very warm day. Walter helped Earl Miller this morning. Vernon & Aubrey finished hoeing the turnips. Colson came up here this afternoon and Edith, Roy, Lois and Sonny went home with him after supper. Sam Umbach was here for supper. This afternoon we had a hilarious chase when the chickens ran away with Lois' comfort & diddle as she calls it.
Ezra Miller was operated on for appendicitis at the Fergus Hospital.
