August, 1926. 15 Sunday. Lovely cool day. We went to church & S. School this morning. Ella & Earl and us we went down to Clayton Scheifele's and spent the day there. 16 Monday. Hot. Heavy shower at noon. Ella picked some berries in Reists bush this morning. Aubrey went to Elmira this a.m. on business. Walter was gadding this afternoon. Walter, Ella & Vernon spent the evening at Sim. Weaver's. 17 Tuesday. Sultry & threatening Walter cut the grain in the field beside the house and Vernon & Aubrey were stooking. Vernon & Ella did the washing this morning Mrs Youen, Violet Youen and Mrs. Elmo King spent the afternoon with Ella and got some gooseberries. Walter, Ella & Vernon went to a Social at Earl Miller's tonight Woolwich entertained Bethel & Floradale
