August, 1926 30 Monday. Fine day. Walter finised cutting the grain today this forenoon and he and Vernon brought in 1 load of oats before dinner and Aubrey helped to thresh all day at Eph. Snider's. Vernon and Walter helped too this afternoon. Ella did her washing. 31 Tuesday. Lovely day. Maurer's threshed all day and had the following help - Ewart Davison, Alex MacDonald, Eph. Snider, Peter Sherer, Enoch and Irvin Schneider, Addison and Harvey Reist.
