==December, 1926== 4 Saturday. Very cold. Walter and Vernon helped to saw wood at Earl Miller's this forenoon but Earl & Walter froze their cheeks and noses so they gave it up and uncovered the silo this afternoon. 5 Sunday. Fierce storm blowing from the east this morning. No Sunday school and church at Woolwich today. It quieted down by this p.m. and snowed some more. 6 Monday. Fair and cold. Walter butchered a pig for Kennedy Brothers this afternoon Callers - Eph Snyder & N. Farr. 7 Tuesday. Somewhat milder Rain, snow and sleet tonight Walter took Kennedy's meat to Elmira and brought home some corn. He used the sleigh. Callers - Emerson Spies and Addison Reist also Lorne Reist with some Christmas seals.
