==December, 1926.== 25 Saturday. Fine day. We drove down to Grandpa Krauters for Christmas dinner with Polly in the cutter and arrived home around 7.30 p.m. Lincoln's & Emersons were there too. Willard came home with us. 26 Sunday. Lovely day. We drove to church & S. School with Enoch's in the sleigh this afternoon Lincoln's called in after church. 27 Monday. Fair. Everything is covered with hoarfrost. Ella did her washing and visited at Enoch Schneider's this afternoon. Walter butchered at Philip Bonn's today. Willard went home at noon. Norman Miller visited Vernon this afternoon. A truck driver was stuck at our lane this morning and Vernon helped him out. Other callers - Chas. Miller, Noah Miller, Joe Gingrich, Walter Adler & Alf.
