We had New Year’s dinner here and the following company - Mr. & Mrs. Sim Weaver, Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln Weaver, Willard, Mildred, Doris, and Howard, and Aubrey Lawson. Walter took Mr. Bergman’s meat to Floradale this morning. 2 Sunday. Changeable weather. We drove to church & S. School with Enoch's in the sleigh. 3 Monday. Fair and not very cold. Ella did the washing and Vernon was drawing manure. Walter went to Floradale to vote this afternoon. The old council were elected viz - Alex Forbes; reeve, N. Snider, deputy reeve, W. Veitch, Almon Snider and W. Hemmerich, councillors. Callers today - Jno. Stange, Addison Reist, Noah Miller and Esther, and Ruth Miller.
