Alex doing chores. {Illegible} nearly all day. 5th Sun. Very cold. Bright. I went to church in A.M. with Sills as Elizabeth has a cold. {Illegible} in afternoon. H. Sills here in eve. 6th Mon. Cold. Blustery. I washed. Alex went out to vote. Father went with {illegible} {John Smiths?} got {illegible} Alex {illegible} his {illegible}. 7th Tues. Stormy.
