Cara & Jean here papering & house cleaning. F.W.M. took clu grain to mill to get chopped. & xx broke Wagon tounge. rainy again at night. Recd Butter 5 lbs. & eggs. 10. Recd Letter from Mrs. Watskins Raimtoul May 16 Sunday. doing chores. went to church at night. at home all day. cara & Jean. here. May 17 Monday. doing chores. cleaning out water diches {ditches} & making some. fixing fence. Frank fixing wagon tounge. Recd card from Will Bate. cara went some on morning train.
