Friday Jan. 9th 1903 Father & J.W. did chores and cleaned up grass peas I took Princess Charming Queen in to Judging Class Crowd placed her first and Dr Reed set her down to third place. There was quite a lively discussion over them
Saturday 10th fair & cold I went to Insurance meeting in Afternoon, recd $500 for services of director, then bgt. dry goods, Caps ect $305 Hardware $122, Oatmeal $220 returned cards to Mercury Office groceries, 55 c 5.00 3.05 2.20 1.22 .55
Sunday 11th Stormy Father Mary & I went to Church in morning and Children & I to S.S. Collection today ch. 40 c S.S. 25 c .40 .25
x Monday 12th Stormy. We Chored this morning and I went to O.A.C. this afternoon to see the Steers before Slaughter E.P. Bell 2nd in heat today I paid thrashing to Mr Baley today $24. Cutting was included he was on street and I did not ask him for a receipt.
x Tuesday 13th fair E.P. Kyma 6 had H. calf by Oxford King we took two bull calves and three heifers to O.A.C. Judging Class. Our Small bull was set 1st and in the heifers Marguerite of Brandon and E.P. Mayflower in Yearlings it was quite Satisfactory
Wensday 14th fair I went to see about sawing in morning & Chored in Afternoon Father & Jennie Cleaning D. oats.
