X Wensday, 6th milder We worked around barn all day, did chores and some fixing up. we C. McDougall had old cow back again to Prince of B. gave bull to Young Stallion
47 Oct 14th X Thursday 7th mild Father & I did chores in morning Father went to Town I went with cattle to O.A.C. W. Gosling of Kansas, was there giving the Students a lesson on beef Cattle. He picked the Sister of Grand Champion, Carcose at Chicago as our best Bred E.P. Kyma 11th to P of B. She was bred in evening after walking to College & back.
Friday 8th mild Father & I did chores and I looked for a boy at Gibsons in afternoon but he is hired.
X Saturday 9th fine Father & I did chores in morning and I went to Insurance meeting and then to the O.A.C. then Came down town returned wire Stretcher to reed 65c gave Mary $500 .65 5.00
