He picked the Sister of Grand Champion, Carcose at Chicago as our best Bred E.P. Kyma 11th to P of B. She was bred in evening after walking to College & back.
Friday 8th mild Father & I did chores and I looked for a boy at Gibsons in afternoon but he is hired.

Thursday 21st Storm from East Charles Smifield came last night sent here by the Department o Colonization Toronto. i have hired him for a month at $800 and he started work today at noon. And made a fairly good start. We went to town for his box, I bgt Flour $210 Bran 60c I went to W.R. Stewart's funeral, of Fort McLeod, Alberta. he Died of Heart Failure at St Thomas
