H Tuesday June 14th fair I got horses shod 100 sold wool. $17.88, 11 1/2 cts per lb got grist 75c, got gate at Tolton's $360, np dry goods at Bollerts, $5.50c took a grist about 8 bgs of oats, and ordered 5 got 80 lbs wire at Morris N.P. we planted potatoes in the Afternoon 17.88 .75 5.50 3.60
Wensday 15 fine We Plowed in morning Father & I cut potatoes and we planted in afternoon
Thursday 16th fine We finished planting potatoes and C started to plow Father hoed some mangels & I fixed fence and showed Stock to Mr Beoll of Waverly & his Friend. Mr Anderson Mr Broadfoot came along with his motherinlaw & his Wife
Friday 17th fine C plowing I chored & took Father to build in windows in A.R.S. Stables & Mary to pay a visit to Tom's Then went to Town and paid $20000 intrest on R. Knowles Mortgage. 20000
Saturday 18th fine We finished cross plowing turnip ground and started to raise drills & sow gave Mary 3.00 to buy dry goods 3.00
Sunday 19th fine Father & Mary went to Church in morning and Mother & I in evening col. 30c
