We worked at Turnips & finished cutting clover and hauled five loads of clover. |

Father & men worked at roots in morning & we hauled 3 loads hay & kiled up what I cut in morning. |

Wensday 20th fine |
Men hoed Turnips and scuffled in morning and we hauled 3 loads in afternoon & kiled what I cut in morning. |

Thursday 21st fine |
I took P.A. Donald to Station in morning & Paid him $1400 His wages came to $13.83c Thomas Buchan Came today from Emigration Office Toronto & I have hired him for a month at $1500 to start with. Mr Morris was here all day helping us at hay. |

Friday 22nd fair |
Tom & his man came along this morning and helped us to hoe turnips. We hauled 3 loads of hay & kiled what I cut in morning |

Saturday 23rd Wet |
We Chored & scuffled and hoed Turnips. I went to town in morning bgt 100 lbs Twine from Penfolds 50 BR @ 14c 50 Peterboro at 13 1/4 things at Morris 74c. Oatmeal $1.25 np at Hewers pd for Photos at the Burgess $700 |
