Saturday. Still very cold. I went down town in the morning and got Emery Mac. to sharpen the saw. In the afternoon I drove Wese and Dick down Wese walked back in the evening. Sunday Jan 7th The cold snap still continues. I drove Wese & Dick down to Sunday School. Tobe & Frank did not go. Hattie walked down to church. I had every thing to do at home. In the evening about 5 O'Clock Dick {Bumby?} drove Louise down We stayed to tea. Jack & Mrs Martin were here for a long time in the afternoon. Monday Jan 8th Another cold day. I walked down town before dinner to see how {Maun?} was he was laid up yesterday with a lame back but was better to day. It began to storm about noon and kept it up till evening driving and storming snow storm from {?} South. Frank did not go to school and Tobys knee is still pretty lame. Tuesday Jan 9th It turned very much colder last night and has been a very cold day with a high West wind. The snow is drifted badly. Dick went to school alone it was very cold and a high West wind.
