Mr Davidson and I to see them curl in eve- Sat Jan 28. Fine and bright but cold I saw Mrs Smellie called in the afternoon Sun Jan 28. Fine but very cold. 10 or 12 below zero. a perfect day and no wind. I went to morning church. for a walk and at eve church. Mon Jan 30. Fine and very cold. 12 or 14 below zero but not so low in Toronto {illegible}. church burned. Mrs Davidson and I called to see Mr Sneilen Tue Jan 31. Fine bright and cold. {illegible }down to John {illegible} for dinner Vemer brought me to N.Toronto home about mine. I called at Mr Halls. odd sleighs and cutters out. but no depth of snow. Moderately cold. beat, did not see his shadow but bright later on. over to see girls skiing. Called at Mrs Nobles in aft- Fri Feb 3. Milder and thawing in Toronto at Hepp. annie here at night Mr Powsell and Miss Edey called when I was away. Sat Feb 4. Mild and sloppy turned colder at night. Annie at Mr Boyle to dinner.
