Sun Jan 1 Fine but very cold and windy. I went to morning church. was in at Mrs Davidsons for tea. Annie here at night. very high wind.
Mon Jan 2. Fine clear and cold but a perfect day. Wellies family and Annie here for dinner. Marjorie is sick so not out. Annie and I at new years Play. {illegible}. Mrs Bales passed away. and Miss {illegible}.
Tue Jan 3. Fine and moderate, wonderful weather, called at Mr Bales.
Wed Jan 4. Fine and moderately cold. Mrs Davidsons and I in {Toronto?}
Thurs Jan 5. Fine but dull and mild. I work for {illegible} to be shortened one dollar at Mrs Fedreys. Marjorie very poorly.
Fri Jan 6. Mild and showery in the evening: Annie here at night. we have changed she comes here for week ends.{illegible} in fridays.

Mon Jan 9. Fine and mild rather drisly. at Annies.
Tue Jan 10. Fine and mild. at the {illegible}. Violet Ray in side and gave me {liniment?}. $1.50. I called Boyles.

Sat Jan 14. Very mild "Black Birds" here in the trees, started to snow then rain in the afternoon terrible slushy. Mr Farley here and put in wall plugs. Three dollars each. two plugs. Annie here at night.
Sun Jan 15. Fine and decidedly cold and windy. Bishop Sweeny also Mr {illegible}. of {illegible} out. I was at morning and evening chruch. Lorraine for tea.
Mon Jan 16. Fine but was wind, snow and rain late in afternoon.

Wed Jan 18. Fine and quite mild I went to see Mary Walsm at 865. Danforth ave. Annie at {illegible} meeting had supper first.

Fri Jan 20. A very high wind and quite cold. Soft Ball girls {illegible}. I did not go. I got a {illegible} 45 a jar, at Annies.

Sun Jan 22. Fine bright and quite cold. I was at morning and eve church. out for a walk in afternoon.
Mon Jan 23. Fine and moderately cold. I walked out to see Majorie who is poorly. Miss Edey called. she and I at {illegible} the same wardens. elected a perfect {eve?}.
Tue Jan 24 Rained most of the day. Then during the night turned much colder. and quite a fall of snow.
Wed Jan 25. Fine but a terrific high wind and cold. phoned Marjorie.
Thur Jan 26. Colder two above zero. falling light snow untill noon and cleared with snow and cold. I called to see Miss Mae {illegible}. first wintry looking day of the season about 2 or 3 snow.
Fri Jan 27. Fine bright morning and then started to snow in afternoon and continued all evening. Mr Davidson and I to see them curl in eve-

Tue Jan 31. Fine bright and cold. {illegible }down to John {illegible} for dinner Vemer brought me to N.Toronto home about mine. I called at Mr Halls. odd sleighs and cutters out. but no depth of snow.
Wed Feb 1 Fine day but windy and bluesky. Mr Hall buried. I called hair {illegible} at J. Bowes in the evening. cold but nice steady weather a week.

Mon Feb 13. Fine bright perfect day. I went to see them skate. Edyely.S.S there. Annie at Annie Hamiltons for lunch. Ruth has mumps.

Sat Feb 25. Fine and very cold wind coldest of the snow. 8 or 10 below out here. We were at Mrs Johns "{Bredye?}" four tables.

Mon Feb 27. Fine bright day. moderately cold. I have a bad cold pains in the face and ears went to Doctors for tablets and cough medicine. $1.50
Tue Feb 28. Fine bright and cold wind. pain in head. bad. Mrs Simpsons & Miss Mandy called.
Wed Feb 29. Fine and moderate. I went to see Miss Wilson about the "Club" Willie and Mary called for a few minutes on the way from Toronto.
Thur Mar 1st. Fine with high wind but not stormy. my face better but have a head cold.

Thur Mar 8. Fine bright and quite cold. I went with Miss Edey to Toronto Mr Delaporte out. we had tea at Mrs Mr Donalds. home mine.
Fri Mar 9. A very stormy day. about 4 inches of snow with high wind quite rough. first real storm of the season. Willie brought {illegible} to Annies.

Sun Mar 11. Fine and quite mild. snow melting. I went to morning church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk in afternoon I went to Drs in eve tablets and cough medicne $1.50

Sat Mar 24. Thunder 4. AM. Very, very, warm and bright, unseasonable. at Bridge at Mrs Breakey's. 2:30. home shorty after see Annie at Medas.
Sun Mar 25. Raining gently from the east. and cloudy all day. at morning church. for a walk with Mrs Davidson, at evening church it is very damp and misty.
Mon Mar 26. Dull and damp quite mild. came a thunder storm early in the evening, lights out. rained part of night then turned stormy and colder. cleaned clothes closets Drawers. Mr Bakers called with syrup. 1.15 per half gallon. I called at Mr Rieh Simpsons in afternoon with syrup.
Tue Mar 27. Strong winds and light snow. very cold. at social Mrs {illegible}.
Wed Mar 28. Fine but cold. n.w. wind. I aired furs. cleaned cellar headway steps
Thur Mar 29. Fine bright. perfect day. cleaned {illegible} shelves. in cellar in the afternoon went to Toronto to see Mrs Mason and Mrs {Jeasdale?}
Fri Mar 30. Snowing and blowing from the east all day. Annie here at night. did a little cleaning in cellar.
Sat Mar 31. Fine but cold wind. Annie went to {illegible} for the week end. Lorraine here with me at night. {Wore?} blue hat to Miss Barkes to be remodelled.
Sun Apr 1. Fine bright a little milder. I went to morning church. out to Willies for a while in the afternoon. and at evening church.
Mon Apr 2. Fine bright perfect day. cleaned beds.{illegible} and all the windoews upstairs. Annie came home and here for the night.
Tue Apr 3. A shower then cleared and quite warm. I borrowed Mrs D. electric cleaner and did carpets upstairs. thunder storm 12.PM
Wed Apr 4. Fine bright and quite warm. finished cleaning upstairs and halls all done up there. cleaned back kitchen cupboard.
Thur Apr 5. Fine and quite warm. I cleaned middle part of cellar all done but some in cellar kitchens uncovered {illegible}. E.sale. shower in a.m
Fri Apr 6. Good Friday. I went to service it was very warm a record breaker for the season. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk.
Sat Apr 7. Mild then started to rain at noon and continued a heavy rain all afternoon. we were at Welsh's for dinner. M.Boyle drove us down and came for us.
Sun Apr 8. Turned very cold and bluesky. a great change after the past week. which was unusually mild. I went to Easter Service. Kylie Liggie and children also Annie for tea. I went to {illegible} church in the evening. children remained so I went to Annies. fur coat on in eve.
Mon Apr 9. Fine and quite cold and windy, freezing. I cleaned {illegible}
Tue Apr 10. Fine and a little milder.
Wed Apr 11. Fine and moderately cold. I finished cleaning cellar kitchen so all is done down there. at Annie for tea she had. Boyles. Welsh's and Meda.
Thur Apr 12. Milder and fine. I cleaned. Store rooms over the shed. {illegible} and children came so remained for tea. Annie {teaching?}
Fri Apr 13. Fine and much colder again. I went to Toronto at. Annie here at night. Liggie and children went home.
Sat Apr 14. Snowing early and then turned to rain and rained heavily untill about three .o'clock
Sun Apr 15. FIne and very cold wind. I went to morning and eve- church. wore my fur coat. Mrs Smellie called in the afternoon. Mrs Davidson and I for a little walk after. freezing at night.
Mon Apr 16. Fine and moderately cold. washed for cleaning. double rooms. cleaned windows and pictures. curtains were washed last fall.
Tue Apr 17. Fine and bright. I cleaned double rooms. had Mrs Davidsons Electric cleaner. called to see Miss Kelly last eve.
Wed Apr 18. Fine and rather cold with frosts at night. I went to Toronto. Annie with me for a while untill I got a coat twenty five dollars. went to see W.{illegible}.
Thur Apr 19. A thunder storm in the night. then turned very cold and a terrific wind. Waller {illegible} put new leathers on the pump. fifty cents. Mrs D cleaning parlor
Mon Apr 30. Light rain early. then {squawls?} all day. finished shed. a very high wind. most every person seeding. some {illegible} before.
Tue May 1. A fine bright day. and moderately warm. I went to Toronto. H. put in lettuce, onions and peas. ground works {illegible}. up at Mrs Wiltsheres for lettuce in eve.
Wed May 2. Fine and quite warm. dug around shrubs. went to cemetry in evening and called on Mrs Noble. went for little drive {Langstaff?}.
Thur May 3. Rather dull and misty at first. cleared and very warm. I cleaned east {illegible} no fire in little stove.
Fri May 4. Fine and very warm an extreme change. I cleaned north {illegible}. Mrs Neil Mrs Donald called. I was at Annies as {illegible} and Jessie in for cards.
Sat May 5. Very warm untill noon a shower then cleared and quite cool. no fire needed as house still warm. Annies Recital 3.P.M. {illegible} and children remained so I was there.
Sun May 6. Fine bright day. quite cool but pleasant. I was at church. lighted fire in {illegible} afternoon. Annie here at night.
Mon May 7. Fine and bright. varnished chairs. painted south {illegible} at Annies.
Tue May 8. Fine and warmer. Varnished Coal Oil stove. went to Mrs Fees. the girls Club entertained the mothers.
Wed May 9. Fine and warm a perfect day. I went to Mr Charllons funeral. called at {illegible} but she was out.
Thur May 10. Fine and bright. got lawn mower fixed 75 cts but had to go back. cut grass first {illegible}. no fire for a couple of days.

Mon May 28. Dull and cold. I came home at noon. cut grass. Nelson S trimmed evergreens in the evening. 50 cents but gave $1.00. Annie here at night fire lighted.
Tue May 29. Fine and a little warmer. I went to Wellie for a while in the afternoon. up at Mrs Wellshires for {illegible}. no fire.
Wed May 30. Fine and bright. put on screen door. battery. called at Mrs {illegible} Mrs Bollins and Mrs Welcock but not in.
Thur May 31. Fine day I was in Toronto called at W. Books. called at Miss Edeys in the evening.
Fri June 1. A beautiful day. bright and moderately warm. E. moved.

Fine bright but much colder and windy. up at Mrs W for Onions in evenig. put in some plants very dry. grass not growing. no fire since monday. {illegible} Harrison here cleaned stove and furnace pipes put all up but pipes in cellar. put them over shed. at Annies at night. no rain for weeks.
Sun June 3. Fine bright but cold. a slight frost. but not that much harm. I went to church. morning and evening. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. some of beans frozen.
Mon June 4. Fine with. dull east window. washed one {illegible}. Mrs D. {illegible} {illegible}. a little fire. last of season.
Tue June 5. Fine but dull and threatening. showery by four o'clock. Mrs Street brought two tons of coal $14.75 per ton $29.00 there is three tons in bin he says also pile in cellar. finw did not cut lawn up.
Wed June 6. Raining very gently all day. first for weeks did a great deal of good as ground was cracking. But rather late for pastures. {illegible} badly in need cleaned stove. well.
Thur June 7. Fine bright and clear warmer. I was in Toronto.H. so nice and warm I varnished kitchen when I came home. Oil cloth, dryed nicely. Mrs Smellie here in evening just as I finished.

Thur June 14. Fine bright perfect day. I was in Toronto lunch and H. home about 7.30.
Fri June 15. Fine bright and quite cool. perfect day. Annie and I for a motor ride to {Peterboro} about 200 miles. home at a quarter to eight.
Sat June 16. Fine bright day. perfect day. I went to Jennie {illegible} for a drive in the evening.
Sun June 17. Fine bright but very cool. at morning church at Rosedale. {illegible} and to hear Rer Newlon Powell in the eve. Jennie had .Book Baldwin and Mr and Mrs {Tebby?} for lunch.
Mon June 18. Dull east wind warmer. I came home about 10.30. went to Mr Reamans funerale at 2.30. a light shower in eve.

Tue July 10. Fine clear and moderately warm. I went to Toronto. at the Island. and had lunch and tea down town. Annie came home and brought children.
Wed July 11. Fine bright and warm, a perfect day. United S.S pic.nic at Elm Park. Woodbridge. I called to seeMrs Smellie.

Fri July 13. Dull and cool, we were at Liggies for lunch. also the Boyle family. Started to rain gently as we came home. then about 8. P.M. rained heavily and continued most of the night. I weigh 135- A.B- weight 137.
Sat July 14. Fine but very wet and damp. Liggie and children came to Annies. last strawberries. Mrs G. {Bryant} died.
Sun July 15. Fine at first. I went to church for a walk in afternoon Liggie and children went home. came heavy rain in evening

Fri July 20. Rained heavily last night and this a.m. cleared about noon. green peas for dinner bad hay weather.
Sat July 21. Fine and cool east wind. J.Bowes gave me a box of currants. Mary Walsm came to Thornhill. M.Walsm came to Thornhill. Raspberries at Mr Simpkins 20 cents they are 35 in Toronto.
Sun July 22. Rained most of night gently from east. continued all morning could not go to church. Cleared about 5 P.M. Mrs Davidson went to church with me in eve.
Mon July 23. Fine bright and moderately warm. Annie and Wylies came home at noon. walked to Willies in eve, they have no hay in.

Wed July 25. Very warm. got a basket of cherries at Mrs Sniders 40 cents and Mrs Kane brought me a basket tuesday a.m. before I was home. made wine, 5lbs sugar 35 cents to a small basket.

Wed Jan 16. Fine bright, perfect day. I went to Toronto, called on way home to invite Welsh's for tea. called at Mr Smellies in the evening.
Thurs Jan 17. Raining most of the day, extremely icy.
Fri Jan 18. Very mild and slippery then started raining at 4. P.M. heavily water over the road at 10. P.M. when girls left. The Boyle girls Ella and Hazel Welsh. Mrs Smellie. Mrs Davidson and Annie for tea. terrific night.
Sat Jan 19. Fair and bright. frozen clean but very icy. Mr Clapham died early. Mrs D. and I this afternoon.
Sun Jan 20. Fine with terrific wind hard walking on ice. I went on car and home again from church. Mr {illegible} preached called at Mrs Claphams, not out in this eve.
Mon Jan 21. Fine and moderately cold.
Tue Jan 22. Fine and moderately cold. snowed and rained. late at night. from east.
Wed Jan 23. A terrific north west wind. and bluesky. Willies interd thrashing. but disappointed.
Thur Jan 24. Fair and quite cold. the snow has helped the ice a little. I called at {illegible} Bowes and at Mrs Rick Simpsons. Annie at Meda Clubires in the evening.
Fri Jan 25. Raining heavily from the east. cleared about 3. P.M. I was at Mr Smellies for afternoon tea. terrific wind and icy again. I went to Annies as she is at {illegible} meeting.
Sat Jan 26. Fair and cold very high wind. I went to the Doctors in eve. my head very painful and dizzy. blood pressure alright. Annie late so she was in to Boyles for dinner.
Sun Jan 27. Fine bright day and moderately cold. at morning church. Mr Noble took the morning service for the first time out since Dec 30. a supply in the evening. for tea at Mrs Boyles. then at Drs. $1.50
Mon Jan 28. Fine and clear and cold. {illegible} meeting. same wardens returned. they are in {illegible}. a little over $2.00 I think. Welies thrashing.
Tue Jan 29. Fine and quite cold.
Wed Jan 30. Fine and quite cold. I was in Toronto. The Maple Club put on "Are you a Mason." in the hall I did not go.
Thur Jan 31. Fine and quite cold. Mrs Davidson and I at the girls {illegible}.
Fri Feb 1. Fine and quite cold. I went to Annies she has a cold. called to ask for Misses Edey. Jennie sitting up half hour.
Sat Feb 2. Fine and bright very cold wind. out at Francis Sale. at Annies for dinner in eve. Boyle girls and {illegible}. there. Bear sees shadow
Sun Feb 3. Fine bright and moderately cold. a perfect week no storms but clear and cold. I was at morning church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk.
Mon Feb 4. Fine bright and moderately cold. I called to see Thomas Bowes. Mrs Rich Simpson called. Mrs Davidson and I to see them skate monday eve
Tue Feb 5. FIne and moderately cold. I called at Mrs Balls. and Mrs Nobles. left five dollars for {illegible}. called at Doctors no medicine or charge.
Wed Feb Feb 6. Fair untill evening it started to snow, and continued in night.
Thur Feb 7. Cleared about ten. quite a fall most of season, bright and mild in Toronto very slushy. I met T. at Hepp-
Fri Feb 8. FIne snow falling most of day quite mild. I called at Miss Edeys and seen them for the first.
Sat Feb 9. Fine and moderately cold. Mrs Davidson and I over to see them skiing. but rather soft. Mr. Thomas Bowes died at noon. Liggie and A.Hamilton at Annies. L. remained untill Sunday. so I was there at night. some cutters out.
Sun Feb 10. Fine bright. colder but a perfect day. I was at church. John and Verne called in the afternoon did not remain for tea called at Bowes.
Tue Feb 11. Fine and bright. quite cold. Mrs Davidson and I in to see them skate for a while. I went to Mr Thomas Bowes funeral. Drs $1.50.
Tue Feb 12. Fine and moderately cold. light flurries of snow. Mrs Smellie called.
Wed Feb 13. Fair with exception of light flurries. Lorraines Exam. stayed with me.
Thur Feb 14. Fair and rather mild. snow last night. I went to Toronto. I called to see Alice Sefton. Annie came here for night as her fire out.
Fri Feb 15. Fine and quite cold. I went to the United day of Prayer Service at the Presbyterian church.
Sat Feb 16. Fine and bright, perfect day and not very cold. Mrs D and I out in the afternoon. a wonderful week.
Sun Feb 17. Fine and quite mild. I went ot morning church. for a little walk and to evening church.
Mon Feb 18. Fine bright and moderately cold. good drying washed {ilegible}.Blankets. 1 ton {illegible} and 1/2 ton stove
Tue Feb 19. A little light snow falling. I called to see Miss Edeys. colder.
Wed Feb 20. Very cold down to 10 and 12 below zero. continued cold all day. Working at Mr Francis house started to tear down the back part. Charlie and Miss Johnson for tea.
Thur Feb 21. Fine and milder in Toronto at Hepp- called to see Mr and Mrs Delaporte on way home. little light snow.
Fri Feb 22. Fine bright and quite cold. I called at J.Bowes. Mrs Rich Simpson here in the evening.

Sun Feb 24, Fine and milder a little light snow in the night. at morning and evening church. for a little walk in the afternoon with Mrs Davidson. J Bowes poorly.

Tue Feb 26. Fine and moderately cold. then mild with light rain and misty. Mrs Davudson and I for a walk. in to see Miss Bowes
Wed Feb 27. Fine bright day. started to move Mr Francis house. Mrs Davidson and I called at Mrs {Echlius?}. I stayed with J. Bowes in eve for a while.
Thur Feb 28. FIne and mild very slushy. in Toronto. G. for lunch with me. at H. Mr Will Bowes buried. Tammy Bowes not so well. a nurse.
Fri March 1. Fine and quite mild. rather slushy. I called at Mrs Collins, and at Miss Edeys in the eve. Annieat young mens Banquet. $2.00 for W.A.
Sat Mar 2. Fine and mild. Women {Mush...?} came, down from north. Mrs D and I at Girls {illegible} in United Church. Liggie and girls out.
Sun Mar 3. Fine and very mild, roads getting quite bare. I was at church, for a walk. went to United Church. came out when fire bell rang, pump house at B. {Heslope?} burned.
Mon Mar 4. Dull and drizzling rain most of the day.
Tue Mar 5. Fair and quite mild. getting rather slushy.
Wed Mar 6. Mild and fair untill evening rained heavily from the east.
Thur Mar 7. A terrific wind and light snow. falling the worst day of the year. I went to Toronto.
Fri Mar 8. Fair and quite cold. M.Boyle entertaining Bridge Club. invited me in. so we stayed at Annies at night.
Sat Mar 9. Fine and very cold and windy. Annie here. zero early.
Sun Mar 10. Fine and a little milder. at morning church. and Annie and I at Misses Page for tea. went to church to see the Daughter of {illegible} presented but had to come home early on eve.
Mon Mar 11. Fine and much milder, "Robin" here and {illegible} geese. at Miss Edeys in eve.
Tue Mar 12. Fine and quite mild. snow and ice gone. getting soft and muddy. I cleaned cupboards in kitchen. Mrs Davidson out in afternoon.
Wed Mar 13. Fine and quite mild. I was at Mr Pearsone for lunch, Annie stayed at Liggies. Lorraine here. rained heavily at night.
Thur Mar 14. Raining gently most of day. cleared about three. I was in Toronto at H-, went to the measuring Social in the evening. Annie came here for the night.
Fri Mar 15. Fair, mild and misty, very warm, it came a thunder storm and terrific rain about eight. ditches filled. continued in the night. no fire in little stove all week. furnace enough
Sat Mar 16. A cold north wind with light snow and bluesky. Mrs Bell buried. I cleaned cellar headway. a little fire in eve.
Sun Mar 17. Fine and quite cold. frozen clean and dry. I went to morning church. for a walk with Mrs Davidson.
Mon Mar 18. Fine {illegible} and moderately cold. I went to Toronto at Dr Campbells. eyes, nose, examined. and much inflamed but not to warrant any operation or change in glasses. called at W. Cooks.
Tue Mar 19. Mild and came a little thunder storm about 4. P.M. I called at Mrs Smellies in the afternoon. sent feather cover to be washed.
Wed Mar 20. A little light snow untill about ten. then cleared and bright. I cleaned. Eest Bedroom. spare room. and clothes closets drawers, and aired fur. maple syrup 1/2 gallon $1.15, took pint to Mundeys.
Thur Mar 21. Fair and warm all day. I was in Toronto. {illegible} to see "Bunty pills the strings" coming home a heavy thunder storm, but did not get so wet.
Fri Mar 22. Damp and misty then cleared and fine in the afternoon then rained heavily in the evening. I went with Miss Medd to tea at Mrs Bobles and to denten Service. at Annies at night. I cleaned first part of cellar.
