Fine and quite warm. dug around shrubs. went to cemetry in evening and called on Mrs Noble. went for little drive {Langstaff?}. Thur May 3. Rather dull and misty at first. cleared and very warm. I was at Annies as {illegible} and Jessie in for cards. Sat May 5. Very warm untill noon a shower then cleared and quite cool. no fire needed as house still warm.
