Fri Aug 31. Fine day. quite cool. took Liggie down town for lunch. her Birthday. got our {illegible}. $5. Annie and I came home in the evening.
Sat Sept 1. Fine and quite cool. raked hay and burnt some. Liggie and children for tea. tomatoes 30 cents at N.S. T. Annie at tea at Mrs James.
Sun Sept 2. Dull and threatening. a little shower at noon. I went to Church a supply so Mr Noble not back. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. {illegible}.
Mon Sept 3. Dull with occasional showers. "Labor Day" Wylie took Liggie and children home.I was home all day. Agnes and Miss {illegible} at Annies for a game of cards in eve.
Tue Sept 4. Fine and very cool but beutiful day. I went to {illegible} at 1.30 and home about 11. P.M. remained at Annies.
Wed Sept 5. white frost Fine bright and very cool for swim all taken out of the water. I made a little {illegible}. the water was {illegible}1 degrees and got colder {illegible} last in. T. Annies here at night.
Thur Sept 6. Fine bright day. slightly warmer. Mrs Davidson at {illegible} I aired quills pillows etc, called at Mrs Nobles in eve.
Fri Sept 7. Fine day. bright and warmer. called at Miss Edeys in eve.
Sat Sept 8. Fine bright and quite warm. swim at {illegible}- closing day.
Sun Sept 9. Fine bright and clear. at morning church Mrs Noble home after four week absence. company for tea. not out in the eve.
Mon Sept 10. Very, very warm and sultry. I went to {Dentret?} looked over and cleaned $1.- called to see Mr Thomson {illegible} for fur coat. $100 or by supplying {illegible}. $85, came thunder storm in eve.
