== 1929 == Tue Jane 1. Raining and sleeting most of the day. very slippery. by eve- then clearing and much colder. Annie for dinner and tea, then we went to Play at Church. a great deal of sickness. Wed Jan 2. Fine bright and quite cold. I have a cold. called to see Miss Edey. she is very sick. very coldand windy. icy Thur Jan 3. Fair and strong wind. got a nurse for Miss Edey. Charlie and Miss Johnson called at Annies in the evening. I stayed in most of day on account of cold. Fri Jan 4. Fine, bright, perfect day. Mr John Francis died. I phoned Marjorie their colds are improving. Annie here at night Sat Jan 5. Fine and moderately cold. on East wind. rained heavily all evening cleared all the ice off. a supply Mr Noble ill. Sun Jan 6. Fair and very cold and windy. I went to morning Church. then out to Annies for the night. a little gas. Mon Jan 7. Fair and cold and windy. Election. Mrs Davidson and I out to vote. called to ask for Miss Edey. Tue Jan 8. Fine and moderately cold. I went to Toronto. Wed Jan 9. Fair and rather cold east wind. I called to see Mrs Noble. Mr Noble in bed. Thur Jan 10. Fine at first windy and some snow later. Fri Jan 11. Cold and windy, followed by snow. rather rough all afternoon. first time all covered over with snow. Sat Jan 12. Fair and very cold and windy. Mr John Dean died last eve- Mrs D and I called. Mrs Fisker died this A.M
