Mrs D in for a while, cleared about five and I went to church. Mon Apr 29. Fine and quite cool. I went to Toronto in afternoon got Oxfords changed also patent shoes. rode home Mrs. Johns. Tue Apr 30. Clear and bright rather cool. I cleaned outside of East window and had double window off and cleaned on kitchen. Washed red table cover. a light shower in evening. Wed May 1. Cold and windy. and a light shower at night. Mrs D. and I at Euchre at Mr Teesons for Horticultural Society - made forty-dollars. Thur May 2. I went to Mr Greens funeral left Concord. 9.11 standard time 95 cents. N.S took me out 50 cents, came home with Chris and {/Peg?}. rained gently untill about three then poured untill about midnight. Mrs Whaler died. Fri May 3. Fair but very cold and windy Mrs D. and I called at Miss Wrights, I went to Drs to get my foot strapped $1.50. Sat May 4. Fair but quite cool. ice this a.m. Mrs Davidson and I at Mrs Whalers funeral. cut a little crass in places. frost at nights. Sun May 5. Fine and bright but quite cold. I was at morning church. for a little walk with Mrs Davidson. not out in evening Mon May 6. Fine bright perfect day. I varnished coal oil stove and pipes, washed lounge cover. at Annies at night. light shower at night.
