I cleaned the two north rooms. had Electric cleaner. a light shower then terrific wind pears down. Wed Sept 11. Fine fresh and clear a perfect day. Cleaned feather bed and East room. Mr and Mrs Delaporte for tea. chicken 24 lbs 90 cents at Mr Wiltshires. Thur Sept 12. Fine bright perfect day. I called on Miss Wilcocks. finished hall so all done upstairs a basket of tomatoes Mrs Wiltshires 30 cts. Fri Sept 13. A little showery but not to do much good. I made my tomato butter. Sat Sept 14. Fine and cool. Annie and I went to Lizzie's in afternoon. Sun Sept 15. Fine bright perfect day. I went to St Pauls Church a.m. Annie and girls for a walk. I went to see Mary Watson in the afternoon. Wylies home at 8 P.M. Mon Sept 16. Fine and warmer. Came home in afternoon Annie here at night. I got tomatoes at N.S. 30 cents small basket. Small basket peaches 90 cents. Tue Sept 17. Fine and cool. I canned peaches 4 pts 1 qt. Called to see Mrs Neil McDonald in evening. Wed Sept 18. Very cool with little squawls. picked some apples went to Vestry meeting in eve. first fire. Thur Sept 19. Fine and cold. rather cloudy. I was at Maggie Anderson's for dinner. called at Charlies on the way home.
