Cleaned up some peas 10 bus I think splitting wood & other chores.
Afternoon at the Brown's he is getting better

Thrashing peas 4 floors took all day but they thrashed well & I think there will be a good four baskets.
=== 28. WEDNESDAY. [362-3] INNOCENTS' DAY. ===
School meeting day. I was there till one oclock great wragneling oven $25 givent o W. Bott. Bains on Jushe.
Afternoon took Miss B. up to Marmion with waggon.
Ground soft & no snow. Strange weather.
Paid James Atchion 75 cents for help in haying.
Paid Jakes $37.38

Went up to Uncle Havenson's on a visit. At this annual meeting at night had good time.
Splendid Music. Jame spheches Good cakes & tea but no sleeghing. They relaxed between $60 - $70.

Came home for noon grand whole this morning with a little port in the ground.
Afternoon drew home 4 loads wood with sleigh.
Showing to might.
I hope we may have sleighing for New Years day.
=== 31. SATURDAY. [365] ===
HIcked up to draw wood for Mr. Caucebut loads were very rough took loan loud of our own until the loads get little. We had quite a lit of snow this morning & has snowed more on loss all da. Bob & Willie took in gravel potatoes & split lot fo wood. I was thrashing peas afternoon. Male haller & lied coil into stall for was quiet. Led him to water at night. I guess he will miss for his mother milk to night. So we have reached the end of another year, & we feel that we have been in the hand of him who does all things well. For cannot, these fou, but trust him for the untried plutuse, for it is all in his hand.
During the past year all our work has gone smooth we had no trouble with bush fires which are very prevelant. the harvest very pleasant adn winter snow formed us with a good warm house. As to health, I have not been a day in bed that I remembered. Thank goodness & money has followed us.
