Oct 31st Brought Charlotte home from Hamilton this morning it sure is good to all be home again still have a nurse. Drawing in corn stalks all day. looks like rain. Nov 1st. Getting ready for market for the first time. looks like rain. Nov 2 Went to market today had a few light showers got home at half past three every thing cheap and hard to sell Turnips 30 & 35¢ Carrots 40¢. Peppers 30 & 35¢ Cauliflowers 50 to $1.50 box Cabbages about 35¢ doz. Nov 3rd Drawing in corn had over 150 bushel getting ready for market again Nov 4th went to market again looked like rain but did not. got home at noon. Nov 5 Sunday. Fine & warm was home all day. Thanksgiving Day. Nov 6th Raining all morning got load ready for market in the afternoon. Had Mr & Mrs B. out. Nov 7th Went to market was home at noon. vegetables very cheap. Cabbages 30 to 40¢ dozen Carrots 35 & 40¢ Turnips 25 & 30¢ Cauliflower 75 to $1.50 Peppers 30 to 40¢. We are going to getting our mail R R Route in a few days. Nov 8th Took two loads today to Hamilton 1 load Turnips 20¢ bus {bushel}. 1 load Carrots 35¢ and got load ready for Market Nov 9th Went to market finished with Cauliflower & Peppers today March 10th Took two loads to Hamilton today. heavy
