12th my Foot very sore Fishing
13th Sunday my Foot I cannot put under me very sore and Badly swelled
14th Pulled out the Potato onions found herricks vest Down in the Bay
15th tried or Begun the Potatoes at the door Gordon found a Bun went around the Island fishing at the Pickerel holes not Biting very well
16th opened one of my Boils and put soap and sugar to draw it and it almost set me raving it is so very sore
17th shot a yellow Hammer Plugged up a squirrel in one of the Hicory trees cleaning my three guns
18th Got 7 Ducks went to the head of the Island seen Roses sheep I suppose they put them on yesterday
19th Bismarck's Birth Day 1 year old today got 5 Ducks a Pleasure Party on the L Renaud 1 of the hens wanting to hatch Dipped her in the Water the City of Hamilton Towing here now eating Tomatoes horse Beans Ripe cucumbers plenty stertions {nasturtiums?} Good
