February, 1927 14 Monday. Snowed and stormed last. Milder, raw and foggy today. Walter took a load of grist to Floradale this afternoon. Callers - Peter Martin John Schweitzer, Lincoln Edler and Louis Miller. 15 Tuesday. Snowflurries this morning. Turned out lovely this afternoon. We butchered 2 pigs here for Edler's and Lincoln Edler was here all day and helped. Clarence Farncombe was here for dinner. Other callers - Earl Miller, Henry Atkinson, Norman & Homer Henderson and Louis Miller. Fred Soehner was buried this afternoon at Floradale. 16 Wednesday. Stormy this morning Mild & foggy. Rain tonight. Walter butchered 3 pigs at Louis Miller's today and Vernon and Ella went down for supper and the evening. Grandpa Maurer was our caller.
