June, 1927 10 Friday. Sultry & showery. Cleaned up tonight. Walter took a load of grit to Floradale. We went to church tonight where Rev J.P. Hauch preached. Walter attended the Quarterly Board Meeting. First night of {beef ring?}. 11 Saturday. Fair and windy. Walter & Enoch went up to {Dorking?} this morning. Mr & Mrs. Norman Ring and children Blanche, Phyllis, Graham, Claire and Jean visited us tonight. 12 Sunday. Fine, cool day. Mr & Mrs. Chas. Heillard came up before dinner and went to church & S.S. with us this afternoon. 13 Monday. Lovely day. Grandpa and Grandma Krauter came up here this morning and GRandpa fixed the front porch. Mr & Mrs. Heillard went home this afternoon. Our company tonight - Mr & Mrs. Gerald Shoemaker, Angus, Ivan, Clarence, Cecil and Ella, and Mr & Mrs. Earl Miller.
