September, 1927. 1 Thursday. Lovely warm day. We threshed all day and had the same help as yesterday, also Earl Miller and Lorne Reist. 2 Friday. Warm. The men helped to thresh at Enoch Schneider's all day. 3 Saturday. Threatening. The men helped to thresh at Elmo King's all day 4 Sunday. Beauitful cool day. Walter, & Vernon went to church & S.S this morning. Our company - Mr & Mrs. Thomas Young. Ethel, Helen, Clifforn & Donald all of Durham, Ont. We were at Grandpa Maurer's for tea. 5 Monday. Lovely & cool. The men helped to thresh at Eph. Snyder's all day. Ella & Paul went to Toronto today with {But?} & Charlie. Milton took us down to Hilland's and we had our dinner there and had our supper at the Sanitary Cafe on Yonge St. We went to the Uptown Threatre tonight. "Hula". 6 Tuesday. Fine & warmer. Ella & Pearl spent the day at the exhibition. 7 Wednesday. Hazy & warm. We took a boat trip to Lewiston and came back to HIllard tonight.
