Had puzzle & F. trying to sell tickets for concert It 11. when they went. I couldn't get a private word to Joe at all. Philus asked me to go to literary (after they went) over at Palermo. Frid 1st.. March / 89. Lovely day. Philus called in P.M. then came along in evening & I went over to Palermo with him. Just in time to get a good seat behind Applyby crowd. Horace W. took a load of 20. Bumbys Joe, Woods, Lucy Matthew man & F. sat with Lucy, & Joe beside Miss Husband & Miss Wood. The programme pretty good. It closed at 10. Arthur & Dave there. Snowing a little when going home.
