Wed 13th.. Ironing. Charlotte B. called in P.M. & Bertha D. also. Bertha gave us some nice music she went home at dark. No pealing apples. Thur 14th.. Pa M.L. & Jane drove up to Street to shoting match. I alone ironing & went to P.O. in P.M. Jane & Pa got home for tea. Frid 15th.. Nov / 89. Jane & I busy all day I baking pies. & churning Charlotte B. & Miss Smoke called in A.M. I went to P.O. Dave came over in evening & had a talk but he very quiet. E.M. playing on violin.. D. talking about Bertha & her having a false note showing to her friends about Dave with his name signed to it. He wanted to know if I had seen the note. He went at 10.30 It very cold & frosty. Sat 16th.. Nov Jane & I hear to do work. Got through at 2 P.M. I went to meet M.W. on 6 train. Dave there he going on train & coming on 7 train back. Archie called to go to pracrise so I went. M.L. not home she in Street. Emily there all but Dorlands brothers. Had Mr Abrey there to fix organ. Archie & I went for a drive around block & to P.O. He wanted to know if he could come Sun eve. & I said not to come if he wasn't at church. Sun 17th.. Nov / 89. Nice day. S. & Alf drove M.L. home. Jane & I got dinner. I went to S.S. & styed for church. Joe Frank & Harris there Had such a spell of laughing at some children coughing Joe laughing too. Hurried out of church expected to go home with Alf but Joe Frank & Harris up for tea so folks didn't want me to go. Alf didn't like it because he waited for me. I entertaining them in parlor while girls got tea. Then after tea us all in parlor when rap came to door & there it Archie but he wouldn't tale off his coat. So had a sing & Joe wanted to go to church but Frank didn't but I didn't want to go being the only girl to go with them 3 fellows. Had a real nice time. Joe asked to take me up to Street on Mon eve. if fine. To bed 10.
