1919 Thursday, 18 Cutting corn all day. Brock to twon at tight. Beautiful day. Friday, 19 Finished cutting corn early in forenoon then shocking the millet finished it after dinner and opening up rest of gaps on other place. Mr. Stirling drove Clara and Joyce over. They come to dinner with Mrs. & Mrs. Nielson. Misty in morning. Quite a heavy shower after dinner and again about five. X Saturday, 20 Men trying to fix back windmill pump. Working at it all day. Mother & Clara to town in afternoon. Brock & I down at night. Fine and very hot. Sunday, 21 Raining all day. Very heavy at times.
