Rather dull but cold north wind. == FRIDAY, 28 == Done chores and drew up two loads of green maple from home bush. Cutting wood in afternoon. Rather dull, cold. == SATURDAY, 29 == Done chores. Brock went to town to draw gravel for sidewalk but it came on rain abou ten a.m. so he came home. Da splitting + piling wood in wood house. Brock + I to town in P.M. Heavy rain all day. About seven o'clock a very heavy wind got up blowing down fences & ventilators off barn. Blowing all night turning colder. == SUNDAY, 30 == Snowing and blowing all day. Brock to church at night.
