December 1919 Monday, 1 Done chores and repairing box where boards were off. Chopping. Mr. Henderson, Janet and Mr. Dorkin here for tea. Blustery at times but not very cold. Tuesday, 2 Done chores. Da brought up plough & got in corn. Brock over to see about lamp. We sawed and cleaned pens. Brock to town at night. Blustery at times and colder. Wednesday, 3 Done chores and cutting wood. Fine but rather dull.
