21 3 P.M. looks very much like rain Murdy went with part of Grant's thrash mill to the little Gore South of track I was not at Prayer Meeting last night
23 Fine day
24 I was not in church today. There was a collection taken up for insurance and coal. they want at the rate of 75 cts pr family
25. I made a large washing. put out but half of it. Hatty came this evening
26 Cold today. wind high, I baked in oven. Murdy drove Hatty to her school
27 Wednesday. Cold East wind until evening then it began to snow. Murdy went to look for the colts. but did not find them
28 Storming fearfully. Was up at 5 A.M. Murdy drove Birdie to Martintown to attend the school promotion. the snow was in some places up to the horses backs. it gave a good scouring to the old cutter.
29 Roads better today. No mail from Martintown yesterday. Josaphan took the mail from Lancaster Murdy went for Birdie. Hatty came in afternoon, she was in the Glen
30 Saturday. There was a meeting to organize a Loyal {leggion?} of Temperance, in the vestry. 32 present
