26 Snow and rain all dat until dark, then high wind. Annie was up, today. and yesterday for a short time School meeting to elect trustees .
27 Frosty. roads hard. Dr. McLaman and his brother were here and took tea. Far came home and is complaining of rheumatism Birdie got 2.50 from J.A. for school Paid Pa $400 me $600 Far over $4300 Paid Auntie 17.50 Auntie gave me 1000
28 Auntie took a bad turn about 5 P.M. And was bad as ever
29 Very slippery Aunty very poorly all day Jimie went to Martintown to prayer meeting. It is the last meeting the Mifs Scots will be at here until they return from China. It was raining and freezing
30 I did not wash today The roads are very slippery. Jimie got the cutter broken last night. And had to get it mended today got 1/2 gall coal oil. 13
31 Birdie washed. I baked in over. And is a little better got 3 lb cheese 39 1/2 gall coal oil 13. {blank} lb granulated sugar. Birdie Jimie & Murdy were at J.A.'s to see the New Year come in. They got Willie Gray to ring out the Old year, And ring in the New. 39
