1 Friday. Cold & bright Birdie cut out and made a cloth skirt for me.
2 Jimie went with the hokey team yesterday to Martintown, to referee the game. And got a crack on his ancle bone He and Murdy were at a party at G.H McGillivrays last night. The Grahams of Winnapeg were there. Jimie is quite a cripple today. May took tea with us tonight Pa was ill most of last night with diarrhoea. And is not feeling too well today Birdie cut my cape.
3. Cold & bright Birdie went home after preaching. Kate Roy called, so did Cousin Mary.
4 Very cold yet I was told that Mercury was down to 26 last night. The week of prayer It is at Hephzabeth {Hephzibah} tonight tomorrow & Wednes
5. Not so cold today. I trust we will get a thaw for our Cistern is dry. D. McKinman & Tupper were in to see Jimie at 8 P.M.
7. Womans Meeting at Mrs Fergussons. I am doing a little every day to my cape but it is very slow
8. I was surprised that we had no preaching today Since Sundy is communion, but I believe when it is the week of prayer that the communion is held there will be no service in the Morning of Friday
9. I was at Prayers last night, the first time this week. Rev. Tanner of Lancaster preached this forenoon to 1 gall coal oil 15, steak 60. Pa got a checque for $50 from D.B. McL.. Paid Jacque $4.50. ballance due him for drawing logs. Paid Kater 75 for printing Rev Mr Bathune Address to his congregation
