23 Sold hind qrter of beef to Sandy McIntyre for 7 cts if it is good & 6 1/2 if not good. Cut up the fore qrtr And salted it in the cellar. To 4 lbs butter at factory. to 1 pan bread 24. rooled oats 25 cts. gingar 4 cts. John McLennan, Tailor, here and brough us a big bottle of syrup 49
24 Fine day. I was not out yet no one in today
25 Dull angry day sold 4. doz. 3 eggs at 13 pr do Got 5 bars of sunlight soap, 25. due bill. 30 Jimie is boiling the rest of the sap

27 fine soft day Murdy to pan bread. Mrs J.C. B. in for a short time. Pa paid Jimie for cutting wood 7.60
28 Rain all day. H Pidgeon got Key of Game ground house, not the Key. for there is none but is going in. $2.00 pr month tax and road work. Mrs Given was in last night
29. Rain all day. To 1 pan bread. Murdy. Mrs Brown is having a party tonight

About the 19th there was a destructive fire in Toronto West of Yonge Street, by the water property to the value of 15.000.000 destroyed Hugh Pidgeon's wife would not go into little house. And got the lower flat of Kintail house, 3.00 pr month.

4 Fine day. Monro. cow doctor to see libby, charge 2.00
5 Fine day. To bread 24 rolled oats 44 68
6. English man, digging garden To 1 qrt top onions 25. for eggs
7. To 2 pans bread 48. Marion came home this evening. Jim bot 20 bush oats of McNaughten 7.
8. J.C. and wife here to dinner. Murdy took Lizzie and Marion to see Birdie.
