14 This has not been as fine a day as yesterday had a smart shower in the afternoon. The Good Templers are giving a taffy feast tonight.
15 Tuesday.The taffy party was not such a success as they expected I did not go
16 No prayer meeting tonight Mr McGillvray is expected for tomorrow night
17. Far was up today. We had three pike for dinner Jimie got them last night McGillivray did not come Auntie & I are stripping rags for carpets
18 Still at carpet rags. We are getting very fine days, though cold, hard frost every night. Whitford brought home the sugar dishes, Annie Campbell spent the afternoon and evening with us.
19 20 Saturday Far came home Auntie went home We butchered a two week calf we got from Don Roy It has been a very fine day
20 Lovely day. I was in church and prayer Meeting J.W. Calder's wife will be buried tomorrow and Maggie, faughter of K.H. McLennan S.B. will be buried on Tuesday
21 Not so bright. I washed. Murdy caught perch. Jimie left here for Montreal.
22 Draggling alonh Liberal Meeting at Alexan.
23 Washed bedroom on Kitchen stairs
24 Feel tired got 1 1/2 gall coal oil 13 13
25 Dusting rags Got 1 lb tea at Willie's 45 45
26 1/2 bush salt 20 cts = box blacking 5 " Jimie came home today from Montreal and went to Alexandria to a {Conservative?} Meeting. Murdy went for Far.
27 Rained last night. Not many in Church
