1 Friday Very fine day. Pa sold Jo Robertson {Barley?} pressed hay. & W. Slack 1/2 ton pressed hay We heard that P. Purcell died from home I did not hear, but think it was Halifax in on the road home.
2 I baked washed & churned. N. Laroque will be hung on the fourth of June
4 Spent all day yesterday in bed had tooth ake. Tiny McGillis was buried tod Purcell is dead will be buried on Tues. at Flanagan's Point Malcolm Sandy, the Widow's son died yesterday will be buried tomorrow. Lassy had a heifer calf
5 Jarvis Tiny's husband died on Sunday will be buried in Montreal on Wednesd.
6 Far went to Montreal last night This morning we sold Lassys heifer calf to D. J. Alpin Got 2 1/2 lb butter 50, Paid Aleck Stoof 50 1__
7 Bird gave me $1145. I paid $1.25 at Womans Meeting at J.A.'s gave 25 for bread Murdy sowed seeds in garden yesterday. & he and Ran planted our potatoes today
8 Jimie sowed on Village farm 2 bush barley 10 1 bush oats I gave Ran 5.50 he paid Willie's for his hats $2.00 Major 2.70 for coat, 75 to John A's for rubbers
9 Ran got Mowet to pull a wisdom tooth 50, got 2 cans of salmon 30 cts. The Lodge are giving Mifs McGruer a farewell entertainment tonight in the Hall.
10 I was in church today for the first in a good while. Professor Fergusson and daughter were there
