1. Sunday. Fine day. Mr McKey, Summerstn. preached here in the afternoon. Archie McRae, Glen. died last night
2 Fine day but very frosty got 10 lbs stew 60
3 Another fine day. Two funerals here today. A McRae's and Young Nancy Angus, who died from a burning she got Sunday night Jimie has Walter Slack ploughing. Murdy went with Brown out to St Raphels We got 3 qrts coal oil at J.A.'s 15 cts. 15
4 Fine day. Pa went to Lancaster with 140 buckwheat got 47 cts pr bush. W. Slack drew one load, Jimie the other, Walter ploughed in the afternoon
5 Womans meeting at Mrs Grant's R.R. I did not go for I was sick with bilious attack. The men are looking every day for our colt Rufus and cannot get any trace of him.
6 Friday. Jimie went this forenoon to look for Rufus. he was down and up the river, then found him on our village farn. Jimie is doing some ploughing every day. J we got 1 lb tea at Gusty's 24_ 25
7 Very fine day beautifully mild. Widow Jamie Fergusson was buried today. John McKean called today. he has just returned from an extended ramble in the mountains north of the (or east) Gatineau river, and says the senery is fine. We got 1 corn broom 25
8 Fine day Mr Burnet preached in afternoon. Murdy came home last night. we had our prayermeeting. Jimie went to Martintown
