1 March came in pretty, cold, wind from the East, It snowed some last night the Bible Society met last night. Mr Green was there.The Collection (amounted to 45.60) from the different sections. 2 Fine bright day. wind still from the east and cold nothing done today. Got 3lbs butter 1 gall coal oil 25 cts. Colour 10. And 50. for Singing Jimie & Marion) I was at singing school tonight I think the master takes a greate deal of pain to teach 60 85
3 Very fine day. Bird & I went to W. Meeting at J. Dingwalls. we got a ride from Mrs McArthur My offering 25 cts 15 for the carpet rags 40
4 Fine day thawing all day. Jimie got home all the wood yesterday. We bot out first quart of milk from Snider last night. Sandy. Ossin called yesterday to get something for the Organist. Pa gave $1.00
5 This has been a fine day. P. Jimie and myself went to Cornwall in a sleigh to get flour. I took dinner at Mrs Grants then went to a number of stores I bot for Bird 12 yds ticking 24 cts and 1 pair corsets for the home 3 lbs currants we got 800. lbs flour = 2.40 = pr hun = $19=20. Got home about dusk, paid 10 cts for milk 19.20 10
