Baked. Sowed onions beets & Mangolds J.C. gave me two. Jimie sowed the home lot by Church, barley, hay & clover. Sent Dolly & Luby to the farm, sent cows to pasture. no grass yet there is not rain |

Began to rain about 8 A.M. A kind of drizzle. I sowed White and red carrots. And turnips. And planted about 30 hills of potatoes |

Fine day. Jimie butchered Lassie's calf. {Justerlay?}, Brown & Murdy came this evening. Brown left for home after tea. We had a call from D.D. McLen. yesterday. Birdie sowed flowers today {Pessurons?} was in ground up the river Yesterday. |
