2 W.F.M.S. {Womens Foreign Missionary Society} met in vestry my offering 25 Began to rain in evening. there was thunder & lightning.
3 Fine all day. sold 12 1/2 lb butter at Wi. Got 17 cts pr. lb bot 6 yds cheese cloth 36 cts 1 box soda biscuit 25. 4 lbs gran 24
4 Raining some through the day. Bot 3 1/2 lb steak 35 cts. Got at Willies 1/2 lb cream tartar 30 cts 2 oz nutmeg 15
5 Showery all night And showery all day. I did not go to church. do not feel well.
6 Washed And cleaning up. Rev McPhee came in the evening to day over night
7 Mrs D. D. and Duncan came at noon Mr McPhee went off. I sent for 1 pan bread 25. We are going to the Concert I gave Jim & Ran 25 each, bot 2 seats 50 each
8 J.C.2. Jimie went to Lancaster with the singers who were from Montreal had a letter from Uncle Sandy
9 Kind of hot
10 Jimie ploughed the lot by the home barn and sowed Japanese buckwheat
11 Jim & Ran went to Valleyfield to play Lacrosse
12 Fine day Mr Given Gave a splendid temperance sermon to a large Congregation
13 Very hot mercury up to 88 in shade.
14 Another hot day M. up to 88. Very high wind. Had a call from Mrs Blacklock & daughter. got 50 lb salt - dary - 50 cts 1 box of pills 25.
15 Still hot - I did not go to prayer meeting
15 Jimie sowed 2 bush buckwheat
